These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern the purchase of license keys for the DFIRe software platform ("Software") through our website (https://dfire.fi) and our authorized reseller, Paddle.
The Software is developed and owned by Tmi Antti Kurittu ("Licensor", "we", "us"), a sole proprietorship registered in Finland (VAT ID: FI330037023).
By purchasing a License Key, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not purchase the Software.
Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns.
You acknowledge that you are purchasing a License Key (a digital code) that legally permits usage beyond the trial period and unlocks specific functionalities within the Software for a specific period of time. You are not buying ownership of the Software itself.
The use of the Software is strictly governed by our End User License Agreement (EULA). By purchasing a key, you acknowledge that:
We provide a 30-day free Trial Period with full functionality. We strongly encourage you to utilize this trial to verify that the Software meets your technical infrastructure and business requirements regarding PostgreSQL, storage systems, and network connectivity before making a purchase.
If you wish to obtain a temporary license key for a longer trial period, contact us at contact@dfire.fi.
Upon successful payment, the License Key will be delivered to the email address you provided during checkout. Delivery is generally immediate but may take up to 24 hours in some cases depending on payment verification by Paddle.
You are responsible for ensuring your email address is correct. We are not responsible for non-delivery caused by invalid email addresses, spam filters, or other technical issues.
Prices are displayed on the website and during the checkout process. We reserve the right to change prices at any time. All prices are VAT excluded (VAT 0%).
As the Merchant of Record, Paddle calculates and collects the applicable VAT (Value Added Tax) or sales tax based on your location. The final price including tax will be displayed at checkout before payment confirmation.
Under EU Consumer Law, you have a standard right to withdraw from distance contracts within 14 days. However, this right does not apply to digital content if performance has begun with your prior express consent and acknowledgment that you thereby lose your right of withdrawal.
By purchasing a License Key, you expressly consent to the immediate delivery of the digital content (the key) and acknowledge that you lose your right of withdrawal once the key is delivered.
You may request a full refund within 14 days of your purchase date. To request a refund, contact Paddle support or email us at contact@dfire.fi. Upon refund, your license key will be revoked.
Offline licenses are not eligible for refunds, as offline license keys cannot be revoked once issued. Please ensure the software meets your requirements during the 30-day trial period before purchasing an offline license.
Support is provided on a "best-effort" basis. Purchasing a license does not guarantee specific response times or a Service Level Agreement (SLA). We do not guarantee that the Software will be error-free or uninterrupted.
This software should be considered to be sold as a self-hosted solution with no professional support services available.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability related to the purchase of the license is limited to the amount you actually paid for the license. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including loss of data or business profits, as detailed in the EULA.
For complete details on how we handle personal data, please see our Privacy Policy below.
These Terms shall be governed by the laws of Finland. Any disputes arising from the purchase of the license shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Helsinki, Finland.
